Disparity Outreach

Patient Advocate Foundation believes in ensuring patients are aware of the services provided by PAF and its partners, and that all patients are able to access the help they need in a medical crisis. As part of our outreach efforts, we share information about PAF’s services, partner services, services offered by local, state and federal organizations as well as helpful tips and articles from a variety of sources. To accomplish this goal, PAF participates in numerous outreach-focused events throughout the U.S. each year.

A Health Care disparity is a lack of medical services in certain populations in the United States. A healthcare disparity involves those groups affected due to their race, religion, and/or their socioeconomic status. Lack of insurance, financial reasons, a cultural belief and language barriers can impede access to health care. Patient Advocate Foundation provides direct case management assistance and outreach to those populations.
