A Promise of Hope Affair
Patient Advocate Foundation held its ninth annual A Promise of Hope Affair at the Newport News Marriott at City Center February 27, 2010. This year, A Promise of Hope Affair hosted a Mid Winter Beach Party theme and guests wore their finest Cruise Attire! This year's Mistress of Ceremonies was Juliet Bickford, anchor and reporter from WTKR TV3. Guests dined and danced the night away to the sounds of steal drums and The Embers. The winner of the champaign raffle took home a pearl necklace and a Live Auction was conducted for PAF's Scholarship for Survivors program. Next year's event will be held at the Newport News Marriott at City Center February 26, 2011. Check back often as we will post the theme for our event soon!A Promise of Hope Affair, Patient Advocate Foundation’s annual fundraising event provides financial support to our Direct Patient Services to help patients obtain access to quality healthcare. All of the funds raised by the Gala enables PAF to continue the day-to-day work of helping patients resolve their insurance, job retention and/or debt crisis matters relative to their diagnosis of a chronic, life-threatening or debilitating disease.
