Attached is the latest version of American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Cancer Advances: News for Patients from the Journal of Clinical Oncology. ASCO Cancer Advances is a series of consumer publications designed to help inform people interested in the latest advances in cancer research.

Based on a study published this week in ASCO's peer reviewed medical journal, the Journal of Clinical Oncology, the use of the drug letrozole reduces the recurrence and spread of breast cancer by more than 60 percent in postmenopausal women in early stages and have completed five years of tamoxifen therapy.
