Based on a study published this week in ASCO's peer reviewed medical journal, the Journal of Clinical Oncology, the use of the drug letrozole reduces the recurrence and spread of breast cancer by more than 60 percent in postmenopausal women in early stages and have completed five years of tamoxifen therapy.
