As the EVP of Business Development and Operations for the Co-Pay Relief Program (CPR), Alan plays a key role in managing the creation and promotion of compliant Co-Pay Relief funds, as well as designing and implementing competitive market strategies supporting the continual expansion and evolution of the program. He facilitates continual internal and external analysis of the patient support needs and the broader environment to ensure that PAF’s Co-Pay Relief program remains at the forefront of patient assistance programming, providing an efficient, reliable, and compliant resource for those in need.
Alan joined Patient Advocate Foundation in 2013 as Development Director, Industry Relations. In this role, he secured grants and donations to maintain and expand support for the PAF Co-Pay Relief program. Additionally, he leveraged these donor relationships to introduce and, with fellow members of the development team, negotiate customized case management and novel patient support partnerships.
Prior to Patient Advocate Foundation, Alan worked in the pharmaceutical industry with a focus on managed care markets. Alan earned dual undergraduate degrees from Stetson University, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management. Additionally, Alan holds a Master of Arts degree in Psychology from The Catholic University of America. Alan lives in Williamsburg, Virginia, with his wife and their two children.
