We Have Been Named “2022 TOP-RATED NONPROFIT” by GreatNonprofits!

Award based on Community Recommendations

Patient Advocate Foundation (PAF) has been awarded one of the first Top-Rated Non-Profits Awards of 2022 from GreatNonprofits, the leading website for community recommendations of charities and nonprofits. PAF provides case management services and financial aid to patients with chronic, life-threatening, and debilitating illnesses. They directly helped 153,636 patients in 2021 with 748 distinct diagnoses, removing barriers to medical care and necessities such as food, housing, utilities, and transportation.

The GreatNonprofits Top-Rated Awards are the only awards for nonprofits determined by those who have direct experience with the charities – as donors, volunteers, and recipients of aid. “One month after I lost my job, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I was terrified because my COBRA payments were being subsidized by my employer for three months. Had I not gone to PAF, I would have had to go from paying $159/month for gold-level health insurance to $879/month. PAF helped me receive $26,600 in assistance to cover premiums, co-pays, deductibles, and meds. I am so grateful because I didn’t know what I was going to do,” wrote one reviewer.
