Patient Advocate Foundation (PAF) is a national 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization which provides case management services and financial aid to Americans with chronic, life threatening and debilitating illnesses.
In 2023, PAF served a population
of patients with over 958 distinct diagnoses.

Receiving this scholarship allows me to continue my volunteer work while pursuing college in biomedical engineering. As someone with many hours of experience as a patient in medical settings, my dream is to help other patients with rare or chronic conditions thrive. My own journey would not be possible without the incredible support of my doctors, who taught me perseverance initiating my will to pay it forward in innovative ways to help others.
