In 8^th grade I had a mass in my pelvis removed that turned out to be Ependymoma (brain tumor). It returned in high school and after completing treatment I attended a summer camp for kids with cancer and their siblings. It was amazing and recently I got to return as a counselor! That experience will help me in my goal of being an Early Childhood Educator.
